IQ RANGE 3-PHASE ACTUATOR DESCRIPTION
The IQ Range of 3-phase electric actuators is described in publication E110E and includes:
* Double-sealed watertight enclosure to IEC529, IP68 (BS EN 60529) and NEMA 4&6.
* Terminal box with three threaded cable entries.
* Integral controls.
* Non-intrusive commissioning and control configuration using the supplied infrared IQ Setting Tool.
* Three LED's for local indication; red-open, yellow-intermediate, green-closed.
* Data Logger that logs operational data and valve/actuator torque profiles.
* Integral illuminated, digital valve position indicator showing 1% increments in valve position with
closed and open valve limit symbols.
ENCLOSURE
Enclosure also certified for:
For installations in countries within the European Economic Area (EEA), enclosures conform to ATEX
directive 94/9/EC. However, for installations outside the EEA, conformance to the ATEX directive, at
the time of writing,is not a requirement.
As part of the ATEX directive approval procedure, the IQ/IQT/A ranges of actuators were assessed
against and conform to the following standards:
* EN50014: 1997 (Amendments A1 & A2)
* EN50018: 2000
Therefore, the enclosures of the IQ/IQT/A range actuators will be certified for ATEX II2GD EExdIIBT4.
POWER SUPPLY
The actuators offered are suitable for operation on a nominal supply of 460/3/60 Hz.
WD3000-000 - IQ STANDARD WIRING DIAGRAM
Wiring diagram 3000-000 is described in publication E120E and includes:
• Control circuit transformer - 24V DC internal control voltage
• Integral local control and local/remote selectors
• Four programmable remote indication contacts
• Monitor relay with changeover contact
• Automatic phase rotation correction - syncrophase
• Data logger - view and store valve, actuator and control signal operational data.
